Disk Space:
We offer a generous amount of space with all our plans. Start off small if required, and upgrade when you like to a larger package. Each MB (Megabyte) of space allows roughly 10 web pages. Your plan grows as your business grows. No upgrade charges or hidden fees.
Data Transfer:
Each visit to your site results in a 'transfer' of data from the server to the visitors web browser. Transfer also happens when you upload content to your site. Hosting companies limit the amount of data transfer, as this data flow has to be paid for. Our data transfer limits are extraordinarily generous (most clients never exceed 10% of their monthly allotment).

Active Server Pages (ASP) is a specification for a dynamically created Web page with an .asp extension. ASP technology provides an open, compile-free application environment in which Web developers can combine HTML, scripts, and reusable Active Server components. Sun ONE Active Server Pages is a platform-independent implementation of ASP technology, enabling ASP applications to be run on a variety of Web servers running under UNIX, Linux, and Windows.
An ASP application consists of ASP pages published on a Web site. An ASP page is simply a plain text file with the .asp file name extension. ASP pages can contain HTML code, client-side scripts, and server-side scripts. A Sun ONE ASP page uses VBScript or JScript code to access the ASP object model, which exposes functionality often used in Web application environments. When a user requests an ASP page, the Web server passes execution to the Sun ONE ASP Server, which processes the scripts, generates an HTML page, and sends it back to the browser.

Mailgroups: (not offered on our Free Hosting)
Create an email address (eg. group@yourdomain.com). Add group members to this mailgroup via the Control Panel (ie. dave@yahoo.com, brenda@hotmail.com). Any e-mail sent by anybody to group@yourdomain.com will have a copy sent to everyone in the group, in this case Dave and Brenda.
Subdomains: (not offered on our Free Hosting)
A subdomain is a domain in the format of http://subdomain.yourdomain.com. This gives you the ability to create multiple 'sites' under the same site. For example, if you're selling computers and software for example, you might like to have http://computer.yourdomain.com and http://monitor.yourdomain.com and http://software.yourdomain.com. This can have a positive effect on search engine placement, as your keywords are part of your domain name.

Aliases:
An e-mail alias allows you to create multiple e-mail names all pointing into the one e-mail box. You might, for example, like to create sales@yourdomain.com as your primary e-mail box, and then create an alas of business@yourdomain.com. This allows people to send to either address, with all mail ending up in your sales@yourdomain.com mailbox.
Catchall E-mail Account:
A catchall mailbox is one which will 'catch' any mail sent to any non existent address at your domain. For example, you may have a catchall e-mail box setup such as sales@yourdomain.com. If someone makes an error and sends an e-mail to sails@yourdomain.com (a nonexistent mailbox) the e-mail will redirect to the catchall address.
SMTP:
Many hosting companies will force you to send mail through your ISP's mail server. This means that even though your mail appears to be sending from your domain, the mail headers in the e-mail address will show otherwise. We offer a true SMTP service, allowing you to send mail through our server.

The Directories section of your Control Panel makes it quick and easy for you to create your own password protected directories. You may wish to have a 'client only' section of your site, and give the username and password to clients to access specific information for them. Alternatively you may wish to have your site visitors complete a from in order to give them access to a page on your site containing the username and password for your password protected pages.
.htaccess:
An .htaccess file is simply a text file containing Apache directives. T hose directives apply to the documents in the directory where the .htaccess file is located, and to all subdirectories under it as well. Other .htaccess files in subdirectories may change or nullify the effects of those in parent directories.
